I chose PR and Media, as I knew that I wanted a career in the PR industry.

Overseas officer for The Buckswood School Group, Hastings, East Sussex
Describe your role.
Co-ordinate a group of schools in all aspects of operations, from Marketing and PR to accreditation and business development. I attend international education fairs and exhibitions to speak on behalf of the school to increase brand awareness and student recruitment.
How did your time at Marjon help your career?
Through my course I learnt the importance of time management, research and the importance of finding a balance between getting work done on time and socializing with friends.
What’s the professional achievement you’ve been most proud of since graduating?
Opening a new school in Abeokuta, Nigeria and being able to provide 30 scholarships for local children to give them a new start in life.
Working with the Swaziland High Commission to organize and run a reception for His Majesty King Mswati III of Swaziland at the Dorchester Hotel, London
What personal achievement are you most proud of?
Winning Make your Mark 2007 with my team from Marjon!
What are your main hobbies or interests?
I play rugby for Hastings and Bexhill Rugby Club, I also enjoy sailing, cricket, international travel.
What are your plans for the next few years (career-wise and other if relevant)?
To remain in my current role and continue our expansion plans of opening a new school per year around the world.
